Some of my shells were available to be taken away from Llanddwyn during my installation on the island on 3 May 2015. Each shell is different, each one handmade by hot forging. Each shell is special to me, the ones I retain hold special memories and meaning. If you acquired one of the shells I created, it is for you to attach your own new meaning or memory. The shells can be a talisman taking you back to a special place, or a love token, or whatever you choose.
I would love you to record where your shell travels to. If you can, please post a photo (onto the Facebook link below, or by email) of your shell when it is on another beach, or an alternative location that you choose. Also record on your post the location and individual number on your shell.

You may choose to retain the shell for yourself, or give it to another to take to a new location, to be recorded anew on here or the Facebook page. My intention is to create a map on this website that shows where individual shells have travelled to, with the intention of this becoming a worldwide project.
